The Crown / Revell kit is actually a GR.1 despite the title. I have one and I'm pondering giving it a nose job to make it more of a GR.3.

Yep, it's a pretty straightforward conversion.  

There are some strange omissions in the various 1/144 offerings. Be assured that as soon as you have finished your painstakingly converted GR.3 or decided to break the piggy ofr a Fox One model, F-Toys will bring out a cheap and accurate GR.3.
