Hi all (especially Leon and pendraken team)

Don't know how or if this so would work, but would it be worth putting the pdf out a week before sending the book to the printers to let people have a go at catching last minute typos and problems.  Anything spotted could be corrected in the print version and a revised pdf sent out. Call it a mass proof read!

Just an idea.

providing that group were VERY small and were selected on the basis of being new to the project so that they could effectively do a blind final proof read. Otherwise you might have (1) contamination of the value of blind proof reading (2) issues of security and control over a final draft being widely circulated and (3) too many enquiries coming back in, of the 'do you really mean this' variety of question and you end up with too many cooks in the kitchen, looking to prosecute their own recipe.

This is definitely something we've been thinking about, basically we would update the Wargame Vault version of the rules first, which would send the revised version out to all the previous buyers.  Those people could then scan the rules for any further typo's/errors and we can amend them before sending the file off to the printer.
