Hi
I've recently joined Dave and Leon to do some casting and other bits and pieces at Pendraken.
I do a fair bit of gaming at the local club where Blitzkrieg Commander is popular.  I also play 15mm ancients and have been working on a few other projects while expanding my collection of 10mm World War II stuff.
No doubt I'll be forced to wear the helmet at some point...
Have you seen the rivets on that?

I was part of the Teesside diaspora in the 1980s myself.  I moved down south for something a bit different but ended up moving home again in the early 90s.

Good stuff.  Do you get back up here much these days?
Have you seen the rivets on that?

I visit about once a year these days. Seems a bit nastier in town now than when I was growing up, I was 21 when I left home and family to get a job - thanks Maggie >:(

It's got a lot rougher since I was going out on the town 10 years ago.

That's a difficult one to quantify as things have changed a lot.  Visually the place looks a lot better and there are less boarded up shops now than in the recession during the 90s but if the economic situation has really been sorted out by our friends in Westminster, I'll show my a**e in Binns window.
I also think the town is like the wild west on a Friday and Saturday night.  There are certainly places I wouldn't go because they're full of nutters which never used to be the case.  Perhaps I just didn't notice it when I was younger or the large amounts of Tetley's Imperial I used to consume put a softer glow on it  ;D

Enough of that jolly stuff.  Give us a shout the next time you're up if you fancy a game of BKC

but if the economic situation has really been sorted out by our friends in Westminister,

Better chance of it being sorted out by our friends in The Westminster
