You're welcome buddy - they're very nice & give a great game [although I've only played with counters so far...need to correct that at some point...]

Somewhere I've got notes of exactly what figures I'd buy in order to be able to game every scenario in the "Two for Tea" stable...if anyone's interested I could probably find them....

Oh - and I am so not going to ask what you were trying to type  ;) ;D

Yes that would be very helpful indeed  8)

Blake - apologies, this one slipped my mind; I've got a day off tomorrow so I'll try to dig them out...some of the codes I used were workarounds though which can be updated now the AWI range is so much more complete  :)

I missed this thread completely first time around
Just to say what damn fine work GM's done  :-bd =D>....And hopefully help Mike (Rougue) find the links he's after.

Blimey it's a long time since I updated this thread. Somehow in the years I have been pottering away at this project I have changed from doing the battle at 1:10 instead of 1:20. I did a tally up last night and unsurprisingly there's a Pendraken order being put together today....

Okay so here's the American artillery. Captains Singleton and Finley ready to give those British a taste of American iron!

Fantastic looking minis. Where are the trees from? They also look terrific.

Re the trees - I made them myself DP - twisted wire and railway clump foliage. A bit time consuming but strangely therapeutic !

Excellent, GM. Does your change of figure-scale mean you have to double the size of your units?
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Not exactly. I started using the scenario in the original British Grenadier rulebook. Since then they updated it and re-scaled it at 1:10 (in their Scenario Book 3). But more significantly than the ratio change was the building in of new research - primarily from the Babits & Howard book*. So some units are just slightly bigger but the Americans in particular have many more militia units and generally a fuller OOB than the original scenario.

Oh and just to make life difficult for me, since I started doing this, Clib sculpted the correct figures for the Brigade of Guards so now I have do re-do my originals  :o

* Long, Obstinate & Bloody by Babits & Howard is an absolute must-have for AWI fans. Fantastically well researched and full of essential info for the wargamer.

Good to see you are still making progress  ;) Will they be ready for the 235th anniversary next year :-SS No pressure  ;D

Once I have finished Peter's 1914 ITLSU I need to get back to my AWI, 2 Brigades of Milita and Washington's Legion left till I have enough for Guilford Courthouse  ;)
