Unfortunately, couldn't read all of the anecdotal story, but got the jist of it.  :-bd

I remember him from 'The Persuaders' with Tony Curtis, which I used to enjoy. Not my favourite Bond, but a great raconteur with a dry, self deprecating wit about him.

This may sound strange ... but I remember best his performance in "The Spice Girls Movie".

With Meatloaf.

Definitley not my favourite Bond, but thought he was great (if a little animated for Sir Roger) in "North Sea Hijack" as bad tempered, woman hating, tapestry-doing, cat loving, marine commando ffoukes. Also "Wild Geese", and  "The Sea Wolves".

He was great in The Cannonball Run as well
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I also remember him in 'The Persuaders' with Tony Curtis which was on Sundays if I remember correctly.

He also did a lot of valuable charity work.

Currently being shown on the True Entertainment (Freeview channel 61) every weekday evening at 21:00.

Stay tuned afterwards, and enjoy The Prisoner at 22:00 as well.
