CSA bits as it stands, now.

Hoping to get the rest of the figures for the 4-base unit painted before Sunday night. It's going to be a grey-clad uniform unit, firing line with gaps from battle losses, with only the one flag.
Then the artillery and limber after that. Then I'll have to think about basing them.

Got enough metal for another four 5-base infantry units, and half of what I want for my cavalry / raiders - cum - mounted infantry. I've also a couple of 6mm Baccus buildings to paint and see what they look like against the 10mm figures.

Sunjester and I came up with a rework of the firing rules, as they are a bit all over the place, an if you set up right you can be impossible to hit

Like the cards. I dined in the Cozy Club in Liverpool last night. They offer "the colonel", "the brigadier" and "the major general" on the menu. Each illustrated by a ACW figure. Pretty sure the Major General is Stonewall Jackson - but I may have to take these cards to try and identify the others.

Spotted that the 6 infantry figures weren't actually finished, as they were missing the blue on collar and cuffs. Spot of paint later and they're now, definitely, finished.

Hopefully I'll have the unit painted by the end of the weekend.
