Thanks chaps! Paul, the flags are cast on and have a nice battered appearance to them, plus the tassles allow for a bit of gold bling if you want :) .

Yes, the NW Frontier range. Shock horror but some are carrying 19thC rifles, but at this scale and once on the table, do don't notice it: well at least I don't. I've seen images of early 20thC Balkan fighters in traditional dress that wouldn't look out of place in the 17thC and still with jezzails, so with some leeway this range can cover quite a broad time period.
