Its always good to rummage through stashes of stuff and find lost gems!

Tamiya paints are definitely different. I did use them a bit for WWII stuff, but found the small and the really quick drying (on the brush) was quite a pain. And haven't used them for a good few years now.

(I actually found odd useful things, that I thought were lost forever.....Correction...
That I'd forgotten about....More Swann Morton handles.....one that takes the 20 series blades.....3 razor saws....you don't want to know the rest.. )

I still have one of these. It must be at least 45 years old, and with the original blades. Sadly you can't get new ones .
