Grit applied to bases and hopefully it will be warm enough tomorrow for some priming.

Bases all drybrushed and figures given a brown drybrush to bring out the detail, which is superb.

Two orders arrived today.

Ooohh shiny! There's some lovely stuff in there, some for me, some for clients, some purely for the painting competition...

Already also assembled most of it.

Base coats and inks late last night, first highlight this morning before breakfast on some of the stuff, which is trying to catch up with the rest of the stuff already on the painting desk.

Lots of stuff finished today after work, ready for a mass basing session tomorrow - along with the Dacians:-
South Korean infantry company and heavy weapons company, over 150 figures, including painting four extra .303cal MMG teams that I had missed off the batch.
Two pieces of WW2 armour.
Three bases of American transportation from a previous century.
Assembled and undercoated my next 28mm Street War gang, who need bases sculpting.
Finished a sci-fi figure that had been in the painting pile for at least 8 years.
Finished a 15mm bowman that had escaped (from a commission).
A lot of fear of the unknown got through with these, that's the main thing that stops me starting a project.

And two online quick play gladiator games won tonight too.
And a roast dinner cooked and eaten.
And time reading with the youngest after helping her with her coding school work.
Must decide what to paint over half term too.

Well, that was a weird day of prepping and base coating.
Ray asked me to build and base, but not paint, 33 New Kingdom Egyptian chariots for him.
So yesterday was prep, clean, assemble chariots, attach horses, putty up bases.
This morning was sand and pav bases, this afternoon was sealing it.
While I was waiting for things to dry I base coated several 10mm units and some 28mm Napoleonic French for a commission.
Fun researching the 10mms
