Duke Speedy of Leighton

Base coats and inks on large things, including a lot of bases, bases now have first drybrush added, many shields attached, but then my superglue ran out.

Snake fences painted and some more bases worked on, in advance of next week's game.

FierceKitty

Cat litter boulders to upgrade Muscovite, Zaporozhian, and Polish bases.

Highlights on tiny stuff, details upon detail on four big things, base coats and inks on bases of other big things...

Looking forward to seeing the new snake fences - I've just built a load of these from
'natural materials' - always interesting to see a different way to build things.

I'm really worried about Alexander using cat litter, as boulders, on his figures' bases.  :-SS
I can see his cats swatting, and scratching, at those bases, before doing something unmentionable on the table.... while he's losing the next battle to Lee. ;)

Hmmmpf...we tried the fleets today. Rules need a lot of work. Two thirds of the British fleet never got close enough to fire, and not one vessel was sunk, though Victory caught fire for a while. Downwind isn't a comfortable place to be!

I can't blame the moggies for this.

And, why?....Or did they put out the fire on Victory ?
I think we should be told !

Bushes and scrub added to snake rail fence bases and ACW BUA base.

FierceKitty

Kitty litter boulders now on the Swedish bases too. Insomnia has its uses, I suppose.

Almost finished the second set of big things (didn't help I added 3 extras to them that took most of today to fettle).

Bases of snake rail fences flocked, so they'll be dry and finished by the morning. Also more basing of my mid-19thC ImagiNations armies which I think are almost complete. Then it remains the small task of painting them!

FierceKitty

Spartans and Greek peltasts have the usual Triassic-looking vegetation now. Hope to complete undergrowth on Greeks today.

Remind me.  :-\

Did we end up HAVING to have this sequel to 'A Tale of Four Gamers', because the original was "Too Full" ?

(If that WAS the case, we're probably half way there, again.)

Yes.

Ta, Will  :)......That means this one is about half full then.

As far as contributing to the thread properly is concerned....I've been soldering some frames up for some of the bigger models for Warband......(It's bloomin' cold in the pole barn today.)

Putting together some "Caesar" 20mm German Infantry, hard plastic. THIS IS A WARNING - avoid they are very fiddley and some have silly poses.
