FINALLY finished painting the figures for my extended Samurai army camp, just got to base it and extended the surrounding wrap (it must have a formal name, but it's too early to research that).

Basing up an ECW regimental gun and crew for use with my 'The Pikemen's Lament' Companies. Ditto odd civilian figures for decoration and useful for certain scenarios. Very enjoyable.

Michigan and North Carolina regiments, Rush's lancers, a couple of sub-commanders, and some Choctaw auxiliaries to be done, observation balloons and stretcher teams finished, and the Dixies can fire on Fort Sumpter (sp?).

Only managed some basing of spare figures so far this week, due to evenings having been busy with family stuff. Nice to have created some different units though.

Vallejo Paints: Never squeeze the bottle too hard when pointing the bottle with the cap off at an upward angle towards the far end of the room .....     =)

Completed painting 16 SYW Austrian fusiliers today ..... including the successful removal of unwanted paint from two of the said, completed figures.   :-[
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Another unit of shot completed for my 'The Pikemen's Lament' Company's. A load of flocking etc to be done tomorrow, which should then allow me to get in some small games of the aforementioned rules, or a 'standard' game of 'Dragon Rampant'.

Until about a month ago I did not know that the nipple dispenser can thread out with the cap. Did not notice until I tipped the bottle over the dish.
It flows out really fast!
