I have had to worktoday, and its been very q***t ( we don't say or type this word as when you do all hell breaks loose).

This is VERY dangerous. I have been here 8 hours and so far have considered doing

6mm  Scifi using brigade models and Iron Cow

6mm Napoleonic

Reviewed my 10mm Japanese early war list (for a future project) with a view top expanding to doing Pacific WW2

Looked at the 10mm Marines pack and what I might need to put together a small force. Looked at sourcing suitable vehicles

Looked at Early WW2  French and British, and wondered if I should do one or both and if I do both, which first

Now I have just seen the requests for 10mm Sikh Wars....


The other problem is that I was hoping to go to the Peterborough show next weekend.  This does look like happening now so will probably end up placing an order or two instead in the next 3.5 hours I have to spend here

Which flavour of Marines? US or UNS?

I've had a somewhat productive weekend. 

• French Foreign Legion (a la Beau Geste) completed bar the basing (x46)
• 1920s armoured cars undercoated and topcoated (x6)
  
• Pack camels undercoated and top coated (x15)
• Stephen & Matilda command units, monks, and status marker finished, based and varnished (x40)
• Another unit of Stephen & Matilda infantry & cavalry undercoated (x60)
• medieval wagons under and base coated (x8)

Wondering about drilling and undercoating some 1967 Arab-Israeli aircraft. 

Still haven't finished the Iron Age fort.

I walked to Hilbre Island yesterday, plus a bit of the Wirral Way and a circuit of West Kirby Marina; if you think wargamers are weird you should see the model remote control yacht brigade. Gardening today and still managed some painting on both days.

After pushing putty around, went and checked the single sheep that had been suffering from fly strike.

Huzzah ! All of the little wriggly maggots appeared to have died after last night's use of a special insecticide.
Truly disgusting job, scratching the dying maggots out of the fleece !   (I forgot to take the disposable gloves  ).

I was going to play a game today, instead, i found out that there was a fivecore retro bundle on wargame vault, so i am now reading these

Spent part of the weekend wondering when I'll be allowed to get back to my hobby to paint the two ACW supply wagons and Dahlgren gun and naval crew that I forgot I had until recently, and the SYW howitzers, crews and limbers I bought at Vapnartak ....   

The rest of the weekend was spent doing household chores, going to a Stag Night, recovering from a Stag Night, rushing to daughter No.2's house to attend to a flood in the upstairs bathroom dripping through the ceiling below, punching holes in said ceiling to let water out (which had run off somewhere else presumably by the time I got there coz no water came out), ripping out bath panels and dismantling shower screen (to facilitate access) to try to find cause of flood (still a mystery but appears related to shower in some way, the pipes for which are also helpfully inaccessible behind the tiles), fighting a losing battle with the moss on my front lawn, putting in new bath sealant .......
