Paint colours for US Rangers

I am putting some stuff together for a D-Day game and the US Rangers at Pointe du Hoc are involved. Which US WW2 figures are best and what paint job do they need please?

Have a look at Saving Private Ryan the uniform and kit of US Rangers is quite accurately portrayed.  I have to say that the US is the poor relation of the WW2 Pendraken range.

Thank you Sunray.  Agree that the troop types are not specifically available.  Some conversion may be required.  May be back to green stuff, or maybe use a mix of other US WW2.
