LVT NWE

I have several LVT's for NWE and have polstern cannons on the front, and had placed the 50 cal on the sides as was the practice, I know they would be 30 cals but 50's come with the model.

however some have an armored canopy to protect the crew

so couple of quick questions, one, any point in building these boxes, were they an American thing or an general allied?
