Yep I can see myself settling in here quiet nicely hahaha....Cheers everyone.
Thinking of dipping the toe into 10mm I've been a fan for awhile. Have fallen in love with the LoA range as many others here have I'm sure. 28mm Ancients is my usual drink of choice but looking at doing something different. Maybe 30yw ? also tickles my fancy somewhat I must say.

And should you ever be bitten by that peculiar fantasy bug there's always the League of Ratsburg range.

Ancients work far better in the smaller scales. One needs big armies to do the exciting Cecil B. de Milles stuff.

"Ready when you are, Mr de Mille."

I wonder if the (a) cameraman really DID say that. (Great story, anyway.)

"I'm ready for my close-up, Mr de Mille."  That one isn't in doubt, at least.

You'll find a lot of poms here, but mostly we don't whinge.

Always good to have more ANZACS on board of course.   :)

10mm and 28mm are the only two scales worth the trouble, so you should fit in nicely.

What's the difference between a 747 Jet and a pom?

We used to make that joke about ex-Rhodesians as they got off the 'plane at what was then Jan Smuts airport in Jo'burg.

Morning all, I've just posted on another thread but this is a better one to introduce myself. I'm in Sydney too - although planning a move to Hobart. I do various periods in 6 and 10mm solo only. Mainly land but a bit of naval too .

Come on Prof. Spill the beans. Which periods?
