106mm mounted on an Austin Champ

I was looking at images of the venerable Austin Champ - which I am reliably informed will be a future Pendraken release - and saw the Champ mounting a 106mm RR.

To my knowledge the 106mm RR was never in British Army service.  So two explanations : (a) the Australian Army had both the Champ and the 106mm so it could be one of theirs or (b) There is a unit based in Hereford that frequently in the past used equipment not in general issue.

From the cammo pattern on the Champ I would go with (a).

Thanks Mart - what a good find.  You learn something new everyday.  So there you go, post war Brits need both Champ AND
the much requested 106mm RR.

British used the 106 with 16 Para since it was assumed that they would operate alongside the 82nd airbourne.
