A Firefox update has caused me a few headaches this week, but not related to Yahoo Groups.

I really cannot get my head round why they mess with things that work, which then leads to unnecessary problems for the user. In general this computer has never really recovered from the upgrade from Snow Leopard to Yosemite, and I believe El Capitan is alson causing problems for Mac users.

There is what looks to be an interesting discussion going on about Mars La Tour and I'm unable to follow it  >:( >:( >:( Thanks Yahoo you dozy geek tossers!!

Just checked and so slow this morning that I gave up >:(.

A tad slow at loading, but at least I am back in. If indeed they have done anything to the site I have no idea as it looks no different from before. The only difference that I could see was that when I replied to a post it went straight into the thread, whereas previously it was a few hours before it appeared.

Well, it is refusing to load again. This is a huge loss to me. Chris, any chance of a forum for BBB, along the lines of the one that exists for Honours of War?

A forum would be a good idea as I can't get anything to work properly on Yahoo group a
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Pros and cons.

Con: I don't really want to add an outlet that would fragment BBB conversations and need extra maintenance effort from me.
And it would be a pain to shut down the Yahoo group and transfer everything across.

Pro: a proper website with a forum and readily accessible resources would make it easier for a lot of people.

Any recommendations for forum hosting?

Problem is the 3 not's apply, not work, not to cost and not on time.....programs are so complex that they don't work, and need continual revision to get them to work properly. Hence the updates.

T'other problem is that WE don't OWN the software, just a licence to use it. So THEY can f**k us around as often as they like. Don't you just love IT.
