Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing very slow loading of the Yahoo Groups pages. It didn't seem to want to play at all yesterday. I had a gander at the BBB group this morning, but now it has gone back to taking an age again. I'm not experiencing this on any other website.

What's happening is the page appears, apart from the map at the top, which is just a grey box. As a result, if I click on any of the posts nothing happens. Neither can I change from Conversations to Files etc. Very puzzled. :-/

I have tried a few times recently to join Yahoo groups but just never manage it, but then I am a bit thick at all this computer stuff.

Funnily enough I have just tried getting in via the emails. There it tells me they have improved the Groups site to make it easier to access and navigate. How come these computer prats have never heard the expression 'if it ain't broke don't fix it.' Presumably it is because this lot are American and are too familiar with the acronym FUBAR.

Not working for me either, using both Safari and Chrome. I get logged in, but then just have a new long list of groups and posts, but nothing that I can click on seems to work.

Yahoo always seems to be 'improving' the groups website, and it seems to break badly each time.

The only thing that Yahoo seems to offer is easy creation and file storage, otherwise forums are so much better.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing the BBB Yahoo group. It's working for me via both Explorer and Firefox.

Well I use a Macbook with Safari and absolutely dead as a Dodo. Not being computer savvy I have absolutely no idea how to deal with this or how to contact Yahoo and find out what to do.

My problems above were using a desktop Mac.

That looks like it could be an update. Try running a reversion to early this week.

Could you explain how to run a reversion, thanks Ian.

A Firefox update has caused me a few headaches this week, but not related to Yahoo Groups.

I really cannot get my head round why they mess with things that work, which then leads to unnecessary problems for the user. In general this computer has never really recovered from the upgrade from Snow Leopard to Yosemite, and I believe El Capitan is alson causing problems for Mac users.

There is what looks to be an interesting discussion going on about Mars La Tour and I'm unable to follow it  >:( >:( >:( Thanks Yahoo you dozy geek tossers!!

Just checked and so slow this morning that I gave up >:(.

A tad slow at loading, but at least I am back in. If indeed they have done anything to the site I have no idea as it looks no different from before. The only difference that I could see was that when I replied to a post it went straight into the thread, whereas previously it was a few hours before it appeared.
