Any thoughts on 1920s/30s tribesmen?

Hi All

I'm just working on expanding my dastardly natives and I've settled on Rugga Rugga as firearm SE Asians/Polynesians but I was thinking about some other figures to use - armed with spear/sword.

Does anybody have any thoughts on what I could use? I had a quick look through Ancients/Medieval/Colonial but nothing jumped out at me. Looking for kilt, possibly bare chested, with shorter hair.
