I have finally finished based my French army, beautifully painted by Mickey Sims of Mickeys Minis and Adrian (Republic of Tolworth)

There are over 1100 figures all together, I was torn about the basing as I started with 3 bases and 21 figures and then saw the posts from last year of the gorgeous units with 40 - 60 figures in them. I was tempted to switch but in the end decided against it as I felt my basing gave me the feel of the period I was looking for. There are 36 foot regiments and 24 of horse, I will be adding a few dragoons when they become available.

The Austrians, Bavarians, Spanish and Savoy armies are already based and together just outnumber the French. I have the English, Dutch and King James' Irish to base up next.

There are more photos on my blog

Cheers

Wow! Beautiful.

Must try Pike and Shotte. Got the rules but not enough minis. Must get around to it :)
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Fantastic to see them all based Ian, I really enjoyed working on them & hope they give you years of gaming joy. Hats of to Pendraken, amazing sculpts, a joy to paint.

Don't buy your daughters a pony, buy them heroin instead, its cheaper and ultimately less addictive.
