Hi all, Iam going to make so trees for 10mm so I was wondering could you please show me any 10mm trees you might have just so I can get some inspiration .

cheers lads.

fred.

These are Woodland scenics plastic armatures and clump foliage (the pine trees were bought already made, and the Palm trees are from Pendraken)

These look good - and are pretty robust, especially when given a wash of dilute PVA

This is them in a game

Cheers Fred, do you have any pics in scale to infantry please ?

fred.

Struggling to find a side on shot - this is the best I can find

To me the trees are a good size - small scale trees can sometimes look far too small - real trees are big!

Chalkie,

Here is one with

These are JTT Scenery - excellent but pricey - so couldn't do too many

And here is one showing one of the Woodland scenics that Fred has in his pic:

Cheers lads, all helps.

Ace of Spades

Mine might look a bit different I fear....

;)
I still have to make some pictures of my 'regular' woods/trees but I make bases with 5 to 6 trees on them usually; also all N-scale railroad stuff and mostly the cheaper ones...

Cheers,
Rob

These are 6mm but the construction principal is exactly the same, just slightly larger. Everything on the table is home made by myself.

The deciduous trees are made using roofing nails glued point up into pre-sculpted lumps of dyed foam (from an old settee cushion) which are then covered in flock and diluted wood glue.

The evergreens are made from pieces of kitchen scourer glued to pre-painted BBQ sticks which are then glued into pre-drilled holes in the base. Building up the base first with small pieces of foamboard covered in strips of masking tape then painted with wood glue and sand gives the bond between the BBQ stick and the base extra hold.

The orchard trees are made using smaller roofing nails and clump foliage.

For more of a forest look

Just have a base for a footprint should troops move through and temporarily remove the tree section.
