Thanks Phil, but thats down to your sculpting, I just did a brown wash over white, which has really picked the detail out nicely.

I do think that head would look great on a Dragon or some oriental monster (hint, hint).

Hmmmm.  :-\

I think I've said before, that the head was inspired by a right old mish-mash of different cultures.,,,But I suppose it does have an Oriental 'look' to it.  ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - Phil

Good idea! They are really nice figures, and quick to paint up too.

Bought some acrylic blast markers from Troll Trader on eBay at the weekend, and they arrived yesterday, and they are good

Leon, you might want to look at stocking these they would be good for BKC / CWC / FWC games?

Reinforcements Arrive

Received a nice heavy box from Pendraken on Saturday morning

Lots of LoA

From left to right, more infantry, commanders, dragoons, artillery, and on the right pikemen, and cuirassiers - and flags at the top (obviously)

And the new huge 30.5cm Austrian WWI Mortar

How many bits?!?! I'll have to have a good look at the assembled photos to see what goes where.

30.5cm Mortar Firing AH17

Had a go at putting this together, using the photos on the website, seems to have gone together OK, on my first dry fit I had both the mount and the collar round the barrel the wrong way, so double check the photos to see that the angles are right.

Its certainly a big beasty, its on a 30mm square base in the photos, and I think I will need to use a 40x30mm one.

I still need to fit the standing plate on the near side - tried once and dropped it - so waiting for the glue to dry before trying again.
