Hi all

question going out to Leon and owners of any of Pendrakens Dungeon packs/scenery.....

I am thinking of building a centre-piece/area of terrain representing a Taurian Maze/Labyrinth and have been looking at the dungeon scenery range for inspiration and as possible items for the build.

I am thinking of using the Large Room, extension and doorway as a basis for this piece and then putting in internal walls using clear plasticard to represent a mirror maze. I note that the large room appears to have a doorway of four 16mm tiles. Naturally I would like to have doors for this room and wondered which doors fit the room in question?

There are also some stone pillars in the dungeon accessory range and I wondered what the dimensions of these are as I hope to use some within the room?

Finally, things like trapdoors and grills - what size are these? I am assuming they are 16mm square to fit a floor tile?

Thanks in advance

Nosher ;)

The rooms with doorways are designed to be left open, so that particular one would be too big for any of the doors we sell ourselves.  You could always scratch build one though?  The doors that are in the range were meant to be dropped over solid wall sections so you could have doors wherever you wanted them.

The pillars are 10/11mm wide and 23mm tall.

The trapdoors, grills, etc are slightly smaller than a floor square, being around 13/14mm across.

Cheers Leon ;)

One other question. Are yhe external walls smooth or are they also stone textured/modelled?

fred.

The exterior walls are smooth.

The doors, are cast in metal, and it would be fairly easy to glue 4 of them to some plastic card to make a wider set of doors. It would be a series of small doors, rather than a single big door though.

The extra bits, like grates, trapdoors, wells etc are really nice, and add a lot of character to the dungeon.

smooth exteriors might have scuppered this plan. How can I dress up the exterior walls....  :-\ Clump foliage and maybe a visit to the railway shop to get some plasticard brick work.....

Nice idea Ian. This one's on hold at the moment, probably a post Christmas Project.
