Is today 2nd Schleswig War day on the Forum?

Just glanced through the Russo-Turkish War  ... and am slightly enthused.

FSN slightly enthused. Suggests to me just a bit above complete disinterest.  :-\

Indeed not. It's a danger sign. It means that I'm liable to go all Russo-Turkish war in the near future.

I rather fancy the Russo-Turkish war of 1808-12, but 1877 is also a goer.

Those two would make a very interesting contrast in weaponry and tactics. One of my regular opponents has a central European imaginary world with an entire history (he doesn't get out much). So far we have fought battles in its medieaval, C18th and late C19th guises.
