(new Bavarian Corps)

Hi Folks, Here is a AAR of our latest bash using the Blucher Ruleset. In this game i managed to give my new Bavarian Corps a run out and they preformed very well on their debut. As normal you can find the report/pictures on my blogg at the following link if you fancy checking it out:

Your Napoleonic games do look good, Slim. I recall your Black Powder AARs but see you are now fully committed to Blucher (particularly the basing conventions). Regarding the Blucher rules, what is it you like the most? Also, I wondered what the square markers (with infantry pictures?)for (see blog photos 11, 12, 14 & 15)? 
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

The markers say 'prepared'

"The other markers required are Prepared tokens (for when an infantry unit has readied its defences in anticipation of receiving a charge), objective markers (which could be anything from a small tableau to a counter bearing the word ‘objective’), and possibly some markers for entrenched units (though these are likely to be rare unless one has a Spanish army). The usual accoutrements for wargaming are also required – some form of measuring device, a handful of six sided dice and a handkerchief to wipe away your tears as my army destroys you utterly – and a small dice cup or similar is needed for your opponent’s MO dice."


Handkerchiefs can be bought quite cheap from what i recall :P
