I'm interested in getting together a game of Warband or, since Pendraken has a good Ancients line, maybe Warmaster Ancients.
Welcome Jameson

I've been to Brooklyn, spent half a day there, walked over the Manhattan Bridge from Manhattan and back via the Brooklyn Bridge. Must go again sometime.

I'm a Warmaster player and I'm just getting into Warband. A key feature of my juncture of rulesets is the use of sabot bases. This will allow me to use lots of my figures without rebasing.

Have a look here:

and here:

More will follow.

Hi Jameson,

welcome to the forum, I hope you will find it as interesting, helpful and amusing as I have!

As to the "mad as a box of frogs" ... I couldn't possibly comment ... but considering some of the responses above .... :D

It's rare one finds something is both interesting, amusing and insane!

Oh...and...there are a lot of Brits on here.

We'll take some getting used to for the average Murcan (so my Murcan friends tell me).

In particular, when we like someone, they get made fun of...so...expect a lot of, 'America.  Taken completely by surprise at Pearl Harbour.  TWO YEARS into a global war.  Amateurs.'  Etc...

;)

Give as good as you get mate.   :D

I didn't and will vote 'YES' again whenever that may be.

Orcs

As you were voting to either be part of the Union or not they should have included the rest of said union in the voting to see if we wanted you to stay.

I think you might have got your wish then.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and spirited responses. I'll keep an eye on the spelling and try to make sure I'm not late to any battles, police actions, skirmishes, wars, etc. ;) As for the accent, I'm actually originally from Virginia, so it's adorable in that Southern sort of way - you know, "Frankly mah dear..." and all that.

All kidding aside, I'm excited to be a part of such an active forum. As I'm sure you all know, many are ghost towns at best or downright troll lairs at worst.

I'm definitely excited to get into Warband in the short term, but the prospect of large scale historical battles is what ultimately drew me to 10mm.

I'm sure you'll hear more from me soon.

Thanks again for the welcome!

You'll fit right in, Jameson !  :-bd
Welcome, again.
