Well that's my interpretation, which is Vallejo deep sky blue on a white undercoat and after a black magic wash.I know the real McCoy was darker but they'd just look like Prussians if I used a darker blue. I wonder if the lilac parade in Munich was conducted like the Monty Python one - oooh two, three, four.
