Yes, a useful piece of kit.  At 10mm scale, you can put a corvette on the table, and still have a decent 'land based' game.  I have pestered Leon for some other navel units of this size and class.    Units that can support amphip ops.   But that is another thread...

Hi,

For the non-railway modeller:

N Scale is usual in Europe and N.America and is scaled at 1:160
N Gauge is the British standard and is scaled at 1:148

so you may need to beware that there may well be size differences between British sourced stuff and overseas. The cricket pavillion from Langley already mentioned will be (almost certainly) 1:148.

For civvy vehicles, and other scenic accessories, you could try Gem. These will all be designed for 1:148 (although how accurate there are .... ).

Cheers, Martyn

Just to say a big thank you to Martyn. My order from Gem arrived today.  The cars are great. The Auster is a really neat model, and my postwar British have some nifty 1950s Land Rovers . SWB. LWB ...and Air Portable  .  hAPPY dAYS
