You can never have too many trucks. And the Comet is a good-looking piece.

The Comet's nice, but it's a bit tarty for me. Bit flighty.

Those softskins though will be very useful.

Love the vehicles.  Fortunately they are all too late for me so I am not tempted for once

The Merc started production in 1941 iirc.

In order to maintain some degree of control I restrict my WW2 10mm to

Up to and including El Alamein in North Africa
Early war up to 1940 in the west
Up to batle for Moscow in the East
Possibly going to do  Kalkin Gol in the Far East

However your comments made me have a further look and the link below suggests its started production in 1938!

https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=JbeYqc5DBFAC&pg=PA106&lpg=PA106&dq=mercedes+L4500a+truck+introduction&source=bl&ots=UZBZSD2kyi&sig=2o15SfsYazyR1jgKC67R10DqElA&hl=en&sa=X&ei=QZotVbnEDdHcapOTgegB&ved=0CC0Q6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=mercedes%20L4500a%20truck%20introduction&f=false

So now I have no excuse, not to buy at least one of each.  If Mrs Orcs finds out I am going to tell her its all your fault  :D

Welcome to WWII. It's lovely in 10mm.

I've gone for Fall of France British/French/German, with the Germans hanging on to face the 1941 Russians. I've also got some "upgrades" i.e. replace A9/A10/Matilda I/2pdr with Crusader/Valentine/6pdr so I can fight in Italy, 1943 against the Italians, and whole new ballgame for NW Europe 1944 Brits, Yanks and Germans.

I'm looking to add Soviet 1944 and Japanese Khalkin Gol.

I've done this so I don't have to paint 25pdrs in desert and in European green. Everything is themed on a temperate summer, so basing, scenery etc can be universal.

Having said that, the Middle East building that I've just bought makes me hanker for Cauther camouflage.  :(
