Pbv 302 APC for Swedish Army Wanted

If the Pbv 302 APC were produced for the Swedish Army, we'd be able to field a combined arms force for them, immediately, with the other vehicles currently produced by Pendraken, e.g. various marks of Centurions, and the BV 206.  All of those served for a good portion, if not the majority of the Cold War period.

Of course, we'd want some infantry too, but perhaps in this scale, West Germans with G3s could also serve as Swedish, and Danish troops too, since they all used the same rifle for some time.

Only one vehicle would be needed to field a new force, immediately, though perhaps some others might be considered too, e.g. a truck, or two, the IKV 91 tank, S-Tank, and perhaps the earlier BV 202 as well.

Anyone else want to see the Pbv 302 produced, also?

Ah! Dear Mako! You have inserted your digit firmly into the orifice of my memory.

1976! The summer of love (well it was for me)! ABBA was in the charts and every youth wanted to watch Swedish films. I, caught in this love of all things Scandinavian (except the uncooked fish), and finding myself in funds, forked out for some 1:300 Centurions, which I teamed up with S-Tanks to fight of the Soviet horde. Didn't matter about infantry - they all looked the same in 1:300 in those days.

So, for nostalgia, and for bizarre Scandinavian armour, I will wholeheartedly support your call for the S-tank.

What about a Saab 35 Draken for air support?

Wasn't the Viggen about then? I seem to recall seeing one at Farnborough in the late seventies. Also saw a Draken too. Impressive and very noisy as I recall.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Q: Was that Swedish armoured vehicle any good?
W: No, it s-tank.

Geddit? S-tank. Stank. It "S-tank".  :O)

You do realise, friend Mako, that because I have put my full support behind your plea, a full 80% of conscious members will do everything in their power to block the request?

Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Money talks.

I need a full company of them at 1 miniature to one real vehicle, so hope to see these soon.........
