Yes.  The whole world seems to be run by people who've never done it at ground level.  If you're the Minister for Education, you should have actually been a teacher or worked in a school at some point.  Minister for Health?  Should have worked in the NHS, and not at management level either.

I used to manage pubs for a large chain, and the number of nonsensical drinks promotions we had sent down to us from head office was ridiculous, all of them thought up by a Business Studies grad with a calculator.  The best one was 'Buy 10 Budweiser, Get 2 Free!"  If any of you know any barmen, ask them how often they've sold 10 Bud's in a single round...

Car/van drivers:
most don't look or stop at roundabouts, on my daily commute to work some A-hole usually comes close to hitting me
those who try to excuse their inability to drive competently by saying "motorbikes are dangerous" no, you are dangerous
the idiots who still believe that motorcycles filtering through traffic is illegal
those who use hand held mobile phones when driving car/van
screen was nozzles that are aligned so that they miss the windscreen completely, hitting me in the face driving behind
those who overtake and don't give enough room to cyclists or horses
those who sit behind me in a 20mph zone flashing/tooting their horn at me as I obey the speed limit near schools
those who fail to see a red light and slam into the back of motorbikes who have stopped - a friends husband was killed by such a c***
I'll stop here as I need to go to work today...

All vehicle license holders should have to retake their tests ever 5 years - pass or be banned until you do
Post test training should be made compulsory for all vehicle owners, failure to do so will result in points and then a ban

I ride a motorbike if you hadn't already guessed

Chain mail, plate mail, plate or mail...who cares.  Words are used for communication and to be understood.

PLATE mail and CHAIN mail remove confusion, so........there :P
