I'd be tempted to do something Necromunda ish in scope, with a Rogue Trader era feel. So five models are a full "warband". Doubly so if they're Spez Maroons.

That's exactly the sort of awesome idea I'd like to make a reality.  In The Emperor's Name might do the job.  Or I could dig out the old Necromunda rules, of course...  I would like to make some tall scenery with walkways, gantries and so forth, but it will probably require a bit of planning (not my strongest suit).

I really don't think GW have people trawling the internet forums looking for space marine references to protect their IP....that would be nuts, something that only a severely paranoid, megalomaniacal company would do.
