I think you'll be fine there, no worries, as that's not a painting competition really, more of a WIP/Get Something Painted type affair.

Could they be used as Minions?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I have a question (though I think it has been answered before)... Can I enter the fantasy category with eight figures based individually or should I base them on a single stand?

I have them almost finished, but they will be my only entre this year... :(

Thanks mate, the Samurai apes were my favourites to paint, but best figs must be the AWI range, beautiful minis
