Pendraken Painting Competition 2015!

The competition always runs throughout the month of February, so your can make your entries anytime between 1st February and midnight on Fri 28th Feb.

1. AFAIK 28th February 2015 is Saturday. So do we have time till 28.02.2015, 24:00 = Saturday/Sunday night ?
2. Please - change the deadline to Sunday night. Some peple, that can paint only in weekends would have chance to finish their stuff ...

That's a typo, apologies for that. The deadline should be midnight on Saturday night, so folks have got chance to finish their entries on Saturday and get them posted up. 

We are away at a show on Saturday, but I'll be home by about 7-8pm.  I might leave the threads open a little later just to allow the folks in the US to get their entries in, but I'll be closing them at around 3am/4am on Sunday morning.

Next year is a leap year, so the deadline will fall on a Monday night.  Hopefully that will allow people an extra day over the weekend to get more entries finished up.

Those can go in either category, up to you which one you prefer.  Sometimes it's worth seeing which category would have less competition...

There are some corking entries in the mounted category. I really don't envy the judges' task.

There's only a few days left in the competition, so make sure to get your entries posted before the closing deadline of midnight on Saturday night!

Thanks for the pics, I've received those now.  You'll need to go and make a post for your entries, something like:

"My Entry No. 1

Pictures to be added soon..."

I can then edit your posts and add in the pictures.

I've edited in all of the missing entry pictures, some really nice work on show!  I'm away at the Hammerhead show now until Saturday evening, so I'll check all of the entries when I'm back online.  The competition threads will be closing shortly after midnight on Saturday, so make sure to get them done in time!

  Well time is almost up for this year ,some cracking entry's this year,as usual.Good luck everybody.
For myself Its the taking part,and the friendly competition that's important, like my lad Simon and myself for the last 3 years we have made it yearly event of entry rivalry.
And of course it promotes the whole of the Pendraken range which can't be a bad thing.

Good look to everyone, I've really enjoyed seeing the other entries (sometimes dismayed rather than delighted). It's been real fuel for the creative fire

We normally give the judges around 5 days or so to get their points allocated and then we'll do the announcement.

I know!  I'll be leaving them open for a while yet, but probably not midnight US time, as that would be 5am!  I've just got back from the show, so I've been awake since 5am this morning already!   

They will be open until around 2am-3am UK time.
