Thoroughly enjoyed the series. Mark Warren was fab
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Although not 100% accurate, I did like the way they were festooned with pistols.

... and Constance.

If you haven't seen the live adaptation of Pratchett's Hogfather, its worth doing so for Warrens equally psychotic Mr Teatime. Unfortunately it means giving the Dirty Digger some money, as its a Sky production.

Yeah, loved the first series but this one didn't fit our schedule and we've got so many other things to see on catch up anyway.

Infantry or cavalry, as required. They guarded the king when he was outwith the royal palaces. Within the royal palaces the king was guarded by the Swiss Guard.

2nd Company of the musketeers reported to Richelieu and then, on his death, to Cardinal Mazarin. Mazarin eventually disbanded them, iirc.
