Inspired by recent discussion on the Sudan (and reading River War) and by Maenoferren's excellent project I have finally painted some 10mm. Over the years I've bought figures for several projects and never started any thing! On my blog is discussion on base sizes etc. but here are my first samples painted.

Few more pics and basing stuff on my blog: http://blog.belisarius.org.uk/2014/12/on-the-workbench-2.html

Anyone know if the Boer War kneeling British are OK for Sudan? I want to do a nice firing line! :)

Boer War British troops will be wearing puttees.

Would really like to see a pic. They would probably do for the later Sudan. But paint job might work in 10mm.... And kneeling they might be less easy to spot the difference?

And thanks for the kind comments all! :)
