Its a hoot.  Unfortunately the local obscure video rental shop only has the 1952 version.  I'd love to see the 2007 (IIRC) version -- with subtitles, sadly my French does not go much past asking street directions and ordering coffee.

And we'll need those French with turnbacks, eh?

Strangely enough (I know its not exactly SYW) I have been thinking of doing Treasure Iseland in 10mm for quite a while now. I have even gone as far as to design the deck plans of the Hispaniola. The rules part shouldn`t give me too much of a problem, it would be finding a decent match of Pirates and charaters to work nicely. The fact so few figures would be needed... a one time purchase does make this mini game idea attractive.
