Somehow I missed the start of the re-run of the seminal 1960s tv series 'The Great War'. Fortunately the first two episodes are still available on i-player. Next episode on BBC3 tonight at 7.00pm.

Thanfully I have the DVD boxset I mnaged to get dirt cheap some years ago...Greast show  and watch it at least once a year
