Does anyone have any pictures of the Turks from this range http://www.pendraken.co.uk/19th-Century-c15/1877-Russo-Turkish-War-sc97/

I'm wondering if any of these could be used to add some variety to Truks in Sinai in 1916

Thanks in anticipation

I too would be interested in adding variety to WWI Turks. Took a look at the Sudan Egyptians but don't think they will pass muster.

I thought truck was spelled with a 'c'.

You are indeed correct; Turks when all the letters are in the correct order is not  ;)

Since Kemal Attaturk the Arabic script was replaced by Latin script. However there are a lot of different accents used to produce the sounds of the Turkish language.

It would appear from this thread that not a sole on the forum has pictures of 1877 Turks.

Bummer! I meant soul. Come on, someone out there must have photos of 1877 Turks.

Given the major changes in 1908 I have assumed that they are not suitable for WWI and didn't include any in my order.

I will be using colour to add variety as I have seen several photographs with varying shades in the same unit.
