It's just not fair!

So, I admit to being a pretty promiscuous purchaser of Pendraken products. I am constantly tempted by new and shiny things and it just takes one rediscovered book or unexpected TV program to have me scurrying away with more grand designs.

Recently though, the pressure seems to be mounting. These new release of WWI have made me look again at the campaigns of Allenby; the Total Battle Miniatures sets have me itching for a bot of Saxon violence, and the new WWII armour HAS to be bought. On top of that there's the post war stuff that has me digging out my von Pivka's Armies of the Arab-Israeli Wars, and wondering if WWII Russian infantry would do for Egyptians in 1956.

Just to top it all, the Pendraken casting Dwarves seem to be on double time - perhaps the beatings have improved morale after all - and orders seem to be popping in to my letter box in record time.

Is it possible to be smothered by too much Pendraken? There seems to be so much of it and not enough time and money to do it justice.  :(

If only it were just Pendraken!

Eyeing up more WW2 Soviet stuff from Pendraken, more 6mm Sumerians from Rapier, more fleet scale fighters from Studio Bergstrom and WW1 from O8 ... and that's just the current list!!

We are getting a lot quicker in the past couple of weeks, which is something we're really happy with.  Having the 3 guys casting now is allowing us to blast through the orders much quicker.  The next step is to get some of them trained up on more of Dave's ranges so we can alleviate his casting pile a bit as well.

First of all Pendraken shinies are by now mean detrimental to your health. Admitted they have adverse effects on your account balance and relationship at times but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Concerning Dark Ages I recommend "Valhalla" from Eaststreetgames. I am playing it in 28mm but looking to convert it to 10mm with the intention of finding an excuse for buying some of the scenery you mentioned.

Buying the little blighters isn't the problem. Painting them is. I used to say I had no lead mountain. Not true now.  :(

So true I paint nearly every day but my lead mountain keeps on growing. The problem is there's to many nice shinies

Take care

How is Dave's casting pile? Is it an industrial ailment, like housemaid's knee? There's probably a little surgical procedure that could help. In the meantime, there's those round inflatable cushions.

He does have a stool (  ;) ) near his melting pot, maybe we could cut a hole in the middle of it for him to sit on...

Or remove and cauterize the pile with the laser cutter ?  :D
