Cant really believe it
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

What a shame, I remember going to see Bottom 'live' when I was younger and I don't think I've laughed as much at a live show since, Rip.

Just heard this on the news and was very surprised by it.  Me and Adele had been watching 'Man Down' last year which he starred in with Greg Davies, and he was one of the highlights of the series.

It won't be quite the same watching The Young Ones or Blackadder now.

Born in Harlow, just down the road from us. I get the impression he was never quite the same again after his accident. But his performances were always unforgettable.
