You may have seen my previous post asking about population in medieval England.  In my research I stumbled on the article about the 2021 census

I would draw your attention to the spike in births 74 years before, that is, those born 1947.

And we know demob was not that fast, and many men didn't make it home until 1946... ;D  ;D  ;D
