Will there be a forum outing to the new 50 Shades of Grey movie ...  :'( :d

Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

Techno

HAVE any forum members actually read it ?
I think the nearest we got, was 'someone' saying they'd picked it up in WHS and flicked through a couple of pages, before putting it back on the shelf in complete despair at its (lack of) literary content.

Nope, I've not.

Though I do check out a lot of charity shops for books and the amount of paperback copies floating around is astounding - one shop had about five of them just on one shelf.

Maybe a copy of the book could be a prize in the painting competition  ;D

I read a paragraph in an online article about the book and was surprised at how bad the writing was.  It's almost like high school Mills & Boon with some S&M thrown in for good measure.

Bought it for the good lady and so had a scan...

Utterly dreadful; really badly written.
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Mills & Boon isn't just romance nonsense nowadays, I'll tell you.

The publishers have expanded to cover a range of genres, one of which is erotica (which is pretty hardcore, considering you can buy it from WHSmiths). In comparison with the likes of the old erotica publishers of Nexus and Black Lace (that could also be bought from public display) Mills & Boon's erotica selection provide a more story-oriented and plot-driven novel.

As I said earlier, I check out a lot of charity bookshops and try to keep abreast of literary things.

Nah. Easiest way is to hide in plain sight.

If you're going to go purchasing smut, do it in high-viz workman's wear and no-one will bat an eyelid.

I haven't got that far yet... Those zombies seem to have taken over.
The mongols are still in the packets Leon handed to me at York and the next figure order is shaping up to be about more zombies and survivors.
The zombie project was meant to be just a one-purchase deal and then complete.
Maybe I should rename it to 'So just how big is a zombie apocalypse in 10mm'

Thanks for the kind words.
