I just noticed that the product pictures for some of the AWi are not photos of painted figures. When did that happen? Have I missed some announcement about it?  They look great.

I can't remember if I put anything in the Photo's thread, but we've had a load of painted examples built up from Andy Mac, so we've started adding them to the website.  There should be some more put up soon I think.

Shecky,

A puzzling little post, was that "not" supposed to a "now", or do you prefer the unpainted examples?

Sorry, that should be "now". I wrote it late at night... :-[

I really like the painted figures.

Not sure that picturing painted figures is a good or bad idea. On one hand you get to see what a professional painter can do with them, on the other it masks any faults or flaws. I've always liked the Skytrex idea of just spraying the castings pale grey to bring out the detail.  :-\
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

"Black-washed" and polished figures work well too, though I think the fully painted figures give the best impression.

To be honest I don't see why both a "clean" and a painted version can't be shown.
