I didn't know these rules Song of Arthur and Merlin. I may be interesting by doing this kind of "armies" ( to solo play  ).
Is this book ok to play, or do I need the others ?
and.. any Bat Rep somewhere ?

The current edition of Song of Arthur and Merlin is written as a stand alone game. You do not need any of the other Ganesha Games or suppliments. However, the rules for weather conditions found in Song of Wind and Water can be used if you choose. I have had a few solo games and the mechanics of activating figures (not strictly igyg) still makes for a fun game.
