Use of Recoilless Rifle(RR) or RCLR

Hi,
in a recent game we used a RR\RCLR, that is an Infantry Support Weapon.
At page 49 under the Recoilless Rifle (RR) paragraph, is stated that a RR can shoot at an enemy unit if:
a. it has LOS to the target,
b. the target is in LOS of the Command unit who is issuing the firing order;
c. the target is in LOS with a friendly unit that is within 20cm from the Command unit who is issuing the firing order.

Case a. is direct fire and there is no issue, but case b. and c. sounds like Indirect fire, however page 38 in the Line Of Fire (LOF) paragraph, RR are not reported as unit capable of indirect fire.

Therefore, here are the questions:
a. Can a RR shoot above friendly/enemy troops to hit a target that is in LOS of a friendly unit\Command unit?
b. There is a minimum range as for the mortar or are more as an Infantry gun?

I suspect that is a 'hang-over' from CWC I.

RCLR/RR will need Line of Sight (LoS) from the unit firing, to hit a target.

I'll add it to the errata for CWC II

I think that there is a special case to be made for the US M50 Ontos (officially named the Rifle, Multiple 106 mm, Self-propelled, M50). It mounted six 106 mm M40 recoilless rifles and was used primarily by the U.S. Marine Corps for direct fire support during the Vietnam War.
So, it is direct (Line of Sight) fire support, that can be ordered in by higher command. From a CWC perspective it fires just like any other LoS weapon.
But I'll take a look at that.
