Greetings, all!

After too long a hiatus, I'm rejoining the forum, having last been part of the forum when Pete Jones was running things.  I've been "lurking" for a bit, and I'm delighted to see it's still the same good-natured, rancor-free community it used to be!

Most of the WWII and modern wargaming I'm aware of that's done around here (in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area) is done in 15mm or 6mm scale, so that's what most of my troops are for 20th century stuff (15mm for dark ages & medieval).

I'm currently working (not necessarily diligently) on a WWII adaptation of Jon Tuffley's (Ground Zero Games) "DIRTSIDE II" (one stand = one squad or vehicle), though using BKC movement and range distances, and on my own Wild West skirmish game (with the working title of "GUMPTION!").  As a result, you might find a lot of my posts will revolve around rule-/game-design questions, soliciting opinions and reactions from you lot to different ideas I'm wrestling with:  I know you're not lacking for opinions  :D , and your ability to chew them over here in a civilized, amiable fashion is a big plus and makes me value them all the more.

Currently living in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, but moving to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area when I retire (so I'm particularly interested in connecting with historical wargamers from the "greater Milwaukee" area).
