The 3D model isn't particularly accurate compared to most reconstructions.
The ratio of the oar length on either side of the tholepin is wrong and you can see the error in the very short stroke length.

I know both can be used but surely cannon is the preferred plural in English? I refer to Alfred, Lord Tenyson for support.
And do I need to be told there were no cannon on a ship already stated to be in use 2,500 years ago?

Probably not, but you are unlikely to be the target audience!

Possibly not and I don't want to be too snotty about it (probably too late - sorry everyone!) but what is the target audience? I knew (roughly) when gunpowder was invented and when it became weaponised in Europe when I was around 6 years old. I asked my Dad, he told me. It doesn't really matter I suppose but it just sounded an odd intro to a video on Ancient Greek Galleys.
