Once again my careful plans are destroyed by first contact with the enemy (pendraken    ). First pledge early May 300; upped to 450 mid May for bicorned french. "This is it. No more" order for 588 late May.  And just put in the official order for 620!   And that's having  dropped the dream of postponed to 2036 an 1805 Prussian army. Am I a hopeless case?

These figures are not for me, but I must say that I am seriously impressed by the amounts that people are pledging on these.

I suspect that they will be for me, just not yet.

I'm busily trying to finish off a few collections this year, the completion of my ECW collections is in sight.  Another couple of packs of ACW Federal infantry and they can probably be parked for a while now that both sides can field decent forces.

Also, if I press on with my Peninsula War French infantry, I will only need to add in some proper heavy cavalry and I will have troops ready to face the Russians.

At this point I'm content to wait until after those who were prepared to put their money where their mouths were have received their goodies and Leon is accepting general orders.  Besides I will need time to sit and think what figures I shall need; not to mention all that Games Workshop Snot Green paint (actually it's called Warpstone Glow now) I will also need.
