We did visit some landmarks in Turin, the old test track on top of the Fiat factory and the weir across the River PO.

Just back. The agenda was Rome - Perugia - Assisi - Sienna - Volterra - Firenze - Venice - Napoli - Pompeii - Rome - Tivoli. I am now at my computer in Bangkok, eating Thai take-aways and realising that I've lost my chilli tolerance. Ouch.

Italy seldom disappoints the visitor (if we overlook Hannibal), but there were rather a number of places closed for restoration, so a lot of vinegar got into the cocoa.
